This place is a refreshing coffee shop. Kind of think of it of a hybrid between pretentious coffee and Starbucks. The drinks are really well balanced between coffee and flavorful spins, without being overly sugary and syrupy. I personally like Americanos so generally prefer simpler espresso drinks, but I make an exception at this place on the occasions when I'm going out to the park to relax and I don't need my typical quad Americano.

Not too busy on a Sunday at noon and ordered from the kiosk. There's limited seating but it luckily opened up when we got our order. I decided to try the toasted banana latte and ube almond croissant. The latte came with two banana pieces with brûlée on top. I don't think I mixed the drink enough as there were banana bits on the bottom. It tasted better and sweeter with everything mixed together. The top of the ube croissant was a bit dry but the inside was softer and warm. Not too strong of an ube flavor.

I had a banana latte from here crazy! It was awesome. I'm not sure if it was a special but if they have it on the menu I'd definitely recommend. Easy grab and go coffee place for when you're running around town!! Very kind baristas also.

not my first time going here, but I def branched out with my order this time! I've had the black sesame latte, donut latte, and the caramel banana latte and all of them were rlly unique in terms of flavor and garnishing. The only negative I noticed with the banana latte was that the banana tasted a little unripe -- otherwise a rlly cool spot with interesting drinks!

I finally made it back to outset and decided to try their donut latte! It's only available hot, so apologies to my iced latte lovers :/ I will start off by saying the drink is pretty good! However, I was super confused by the cold cream top and the hot drink below it. The different temperatures threw me off a bit but the flavors were yummy. The cream top is also the sweet part of the drink and the hot latte seems to be pretty standard latte. Overall, outset is still a great spot in the mission and I can see myself grabbing something here before walking around valencia :)

I think this coffee place is pretty fab. Wish it was closer to me, but then that may be a bad idea as I would pop in more often. I absolutely love their drinks. My favorite so far is their Dirty Matcha with whole milk and choice of sweetener. When they deliver it, they put the drinks into aluminum cans which does have CRV value, so definitely remember to rinse out the cans before you recycle them. Their food is not bad either. We pretty much tried almost all of their offerings and their Croque Monsieur Croissant(Not Your Average Ham & Cheese) is definitely yummy. Located on Valencia St. and 19th St.; next to a Live Fit Gym.
